I had a very short window of opportunity today. Woke up, brushed teeth and then legged it to Posh for about 9.30 and arrived for the last 10 mins of a rain shower, so thought I was going to be skunked. As soon as the rain cleared I rigged a 5.7 knowing that the wind was coming back. Was almost rigged when Supersuit and Big Al made an appearance. I was the guinea pig and 5.8 was fine for the first half of the session, but then the wind picked up and I would have been better on the 5m. Not stupidly overpowered though and it gave me some extra lift in the jumps for me and the Christmas turkey. The waves picked up for the second half of the session and I was getting two to three turns on each wave, when the wind switched to slightly cross off - that was a rather nice Christmas pressie.

I had to pack up just as PaulP and another were rigging up, so I'm hoping he scored a good session. I'm glad I made the effort, even though I was only on the water for an hour. The sun was out, the wind was blowing and I was sharing the beach with other smiling addicts.
